Produce to Reduce

These are prototypes of our waste management collection made out of recycled pure water rubber bags. The intolerable pollution of the environment through plastic has affected most of the landscapes in Ghana and many other countries in Africa. The fact is: one plastic bottle takes more than 450 years before it decomposes. Recycling plastic is a serious issue in Africa but yet not addressed on the politics agenda. With this collection we wish to contribute reducing plastic waste through patching and sewing rubber bags on sneakers. It may not be the final solution for the plastic waste problem, but it’s our way to create more awareness.
